IMOS Sphinx WWII Interallied Distinguished Service Cross 1939 1945

International Order: WW2 Interallied Distinguished 
Service Cross, 1939 -1945, by the Interallied 
Military Organization Sphinx (IMOS).
The IMOS Organization was founded in 1970 by 
representatives of 13 of the Allied nations in Paris. 
President of IMOS was appointed Colonel - Count 
Strzelczyk a Polish WW2 hero who died in 1981. 
IMOS was named after Colonel Strzelczyk’s 
resistance codename “Sphinx” from the period of 
the Nazi occupation of Belgium. 
IMOS draws its members from WW2 veterans as 
well as serving members of the Belgian Armed 
Forces. 
The Organization operates today through the 
IMOSPHINX Academy in Belgium.
