SWEDEN: Silver Medal of Merit for the 1912 
Stockholm Summer Olympics. 
Signed by Adolf Lindberg. 
On the obverse: The head of King Gustaf V of 
Sweden circumscribed "Gustaf V Sveriges 
Konung" (Gustaf V King of Sweden).  
On the reverse: Laurel and palm branches with 
the Swedish national emblem of three crowns, 
inscribed "Femte Olympiaden Stockholm 
1912." (Summer Olympiad Stockholm 1912). 
The medal was personally presented by King 
Gustaf V to Swedish officials, members of IOC 
and the Swedish Olympic Committee, the 
Royal Family and Swedish medal winners.
The medal is scarce.
