was the support of families with many children. 
The medal was instituted in 1939 and was 
awarded to mothers of more than 5 children. 
With 8 bows on the ribbon (for 8 kids).
Maker marked by the Italian Royal Mint.
The award of the medal was discontinued in 
1950.
