ITALY: WW1 Commemorative Cross of the 3rd 
Army. 
The medal was an unofficial award that was issued 
in 1919 to the members of the 3rd Army, at the 
expense of the Duke of Aosta (the Commander of 
the 3rd Army) in "Ricordo e Recconoscenza - 
Remembrance and Recognition". 
The 3rd Army under the Command of the Duke of 
Aosta participated in the battles of Insonzo and 
Caporetto.
