Somme-Py following the battle of the Somme. 
Postmarked Aug. 06, 1916 by the 28th Infantry 
Regiment, 8th Company.
The postcard was mailed during the Battle of the 
Somme (July 01-Nov. 18, 1916), in which the 
Regiment took part.
Written - a soldier sends regards to his family. 
Rare, historically significant piece for militaria 
and postal history collectors.
