Imperial Germany: Original WW1 photo postcard 
depicting a group of German soldiers and nurses 
together with ladies in civilian attire gathered 
outdoors likely during a Red Cross Coffee event. 
Note the Officer in the center and the decorated 
with the Iron Cross soldier (sitting at the far right).
Feldpost-marked (St Johann) and written on the
reverse - the sender writes to his sweetheart 
describes being well in hospital, treated kindly 
and enjoying coffee in the garden event.
A rare and emotional piece of wartime 
correspondence from the Western Front.
