France WWI Verdun Medal 1916 Revillon Type with Clasp Verdun by Artus Bertrand

FRANCE: Verdun WW1 Commemorative Medal. 
With the respective "Verdun" bar on the ribbon. 
Scarce example signed by Revillon, maker marked 
by Artus Bertrand (Artus Bertrand & Cie) and 
marked "Bronze" on the rim.
On the obverse: "ON NE PASSE PAS" (They will 
not pass)
On the reverse: "EN AVANT JUSQU AU' BOUT" 
(Forward to the End)
The Verdun medals were unofficial awards, by the 
municipality of Verdun, to military personnel who 
participated in the February 1916 battle of the 
Verdun fort.
