France WWI Veterans Commemorative Medal for the Occupation of Rhineland and Ruhr 1st Type by Arthus Bertrand

France: Veterans Commemorative Medal for 
the Occupation of Rhineland and Ruhr (the 
German center for steel and industrial 
production), right after the end of WW1 (1918 
- 1930). 
Marked "Bronze" and maker marked with the 
triangle of Arthus Bertrand on the rim. 
This is the rare 1st type of the medal for only 
Rhineland and Ruhr.
A 2nd posterior type exists that was also 
issued for the occupation forces in Austria 
and includes also Tirol (Tyrol). 
The medal was established in 1925 by the 
Federation of the Former Veterans of 
Rhineland and Ruhr.
