Specification
France: Trench art, WW1 patriotic inkwell in the 
form of a Prussian Army spiked helmet that has 
been stabbed by a French "Rosalie" bayonet (the 
bayonet of the French Model 1886 Lebel) which 
has penetrated through it.
The word "Ypres" (for the respective series of 
WW1 battles) is inscribed on the visor of the 
helmet .
Note the details of the Prussian Eagle, the chin 
strap and the bayonet itself.
A rare example of patriotic trench art.
