Czechoslovakia: Commemorative Medal of the 2nd 
Rifle Regiment "Jiriho z Podebrad" (George of 
Podebrady) .
The medal was established in 1948 and was awarded 
to the surviving veterans of the Regiment during the 
delayed military celebrations on the occasion of the 
30th anniversary of the formation of the Unit in the 
Ukraine in 1916.
Signed by the medalist J. Mayer. 
Obverse: George of Podebrady, King of Bohenia.
On the reverse: The Hussite shield with the motif of 
the "Zborovsky badge" (exposed sword pointing 
down with linden branch and calyx).Dated 1916-1948. 
Inscribed IVAN (the City in the Ukraine the Regiment 
was formed) and LITOMERICE (the garrison city of 
the Regiment in Bohemia) 
The medal is scarce.
