With the portrait of Kaiser Franz Joseph. 
Inscribed: "World War 1914 - 1915", "Viribus 
Unitis" (Power in Unity).
The 5th Army was formed in 1914 and was 
put under the command of General Liborius 
Ritter von Frank. 
Between Aug. and Dec. 1914, it participated 
in the Serbian Campaign and suffered such 
enormous casualties that it was disbanded 
on 27 Dec. 1914. 
It was re-established in May 1915 on the 
Italian Front, where it remained active until 
the end of the War. It was officially named 
"Isonzo Army" in 1917.
