badge, in circular shape featuring a black 
cross with the flags of Germany & Hungary 
between its arms. 
The names "Hohenzollern" (the German 
Imperial Dynasty), "Habsburg (the Austro-
Hungarian Imperial Dynasty), "Hindenburg" 
(Supreme Commander East 1914-1916, Chief 
of the German General Staff 1916-1918) and 
"Hotzendorf" (Chief of the Austro-Hungarian 
General Staff, 1912-1917).
Dated 1915 and marked by the Austro-
Hungarian Office for the War Effort on the 
reverse.
