AUSTRIA- State of Upper Austria: 
Bronze Commemorative Medal for Participation in 
the Anti-flood Operations in 1954.
The medal was instituted in 1955 and was awarded 
to members of the Armed Forces and the Fire 
Fighting Service for personal participation in the 
aid and rescue operations during the flood 
disaster (caused by the flooding of the Danube 
river) in July 1954.
