France: WW2 Volunteer's stickpin-badge of the
French Legion of Volunteers and Combatants
of the National Revolution 1940-1944.
This Organization was established in 1940 by
General Petain and reflected the attempt of the
Government of Vichy to substitute and control the
already existing Veteran Associations of France.
The organization lived shortly (until the liberation
of France in 1944) just like all the other Vichy
institutions.
It was banned following the end of WW2.
A rare badge.
