Cross Decoration 1864–1914, 2nd Class with 
Laurel (War Decoration). 
Finely made in silver and enamel, this award 
recognized wartime humanitarian and medical 
service. 
Produced by G.A. Scheid of Vienna–Budapest and 
preserved in its original box of issue, it represents 
a prestigious and collectible First World War 
decoration.
Hallmarked on the suspender (Diana/Artemis 
head)  and also "A" hallmark on the ring (silver 
purity mark of the Vienna Mint).
